About the role

The Royal Free London Pharmacy is seeking Bank Pharmacy Technicians at Band 4 or Band 5 to work within its outpatient pharmacy services. The role is based primarily at the Royal Free Hospital, a busy tertiary care centre, and supports the delivery of high‑quality, patient‑focused pharmaceutical care.

Key responsibilities

Provide clinical pharmacy services to out‑patients, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
Take responsibility for patient counselling and medication reconciliation.
Contribute to policy and service development within the outpatient pharmacy.
Manage financial and physical resources related to pharmacy operations.
Lead and support pharmacy staff in day‑to‑day activities.
Maintain information resources and support research and development initiatives.

Required profile

Qualified Pharmacy Technician at Band 4 or Band 5 level.
Commitment to respectful, compassionate care in line with Royal Free values.
Ability to work flexibly across different locations as required by the Trust.
Experience in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment.
