Rehabilitation Consultant (Psychologist / Counsellor)

About the role

Join Acumen Health, part of the APM Group, to support individuals who have sustained physical or psychological injuries at work. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to guide clients from rehabilitation to sustainable employment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct vocational, transferable skills, job preparation, worksite, and initial needs assessments.
• Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans through case management.
• Collaborate with injured employees, employers, medical specialists and allied health professionals.
• Provide support across diverse industries including transport, agriculture, construction, hospitality, retail, manufacturing and government.

Required profile

• Current unrestricted (or eligible) registration or membership with AHPRA or ASORC.
• Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (registered or provisional psychologist with supervision).
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for helping people rehabilitate; occupational rehabilitation experience is desirable.
