Bank Project Worker

About the role

We are looking for a Bank Project Worker to join our vibrant, Ofsted‑registered young people service at St John’s Church Road, Folkestone. You will be part of a compassionate, community‑focused team that supports vulnerable young people in daily living, education, training and employment pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer needs, update support plans and signpost to education, training and employment opportunities.
• Assist customers with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting.
• Provide advice to help customers meet tenancy conditions and manage finances and welfare benefits.
• Promote social inclusion, confidence and resilience while ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable or at‑risk young people.
• Positive, proactive approach with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Knowledge of support planning, key working, risk assessment and safeguarding.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and similar IT tools.
