Bank Registered Nurse – Care Home (Flexible Part‑Time)

About the role

This casual, part‑time bank position offers flexible working within a Barchester care home. You will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, creating a safe and supportive environment while using professional judgement for critical clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored care plans for each resident.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and produce comprehensive documentation.
• Provide high‑quality nursing care across a range of physical and mental health needs.
• Support the care home team in delivering person‑centred services.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Experience creating care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Compassionate, dedicated and person‑centred approach to nursing.
