About the role

Join Sanctuary Care as a Bank Registered Nurse at Rushyfields Residential and Nursing Home in Durham. You will work on a flexible, as‑needed basis delivering high‑quality nursing care to older residents in a supportive, not‑for‑profit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care that complies with the NMC Code and evidence‑based practice.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with residents, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage holistic and emergency care situations with competence and compassion.
• Lead and support care professionals, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Participate in continuous professional development and mentor student nurses.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification and current NMC registration.
• Commitment to delivering person‑centred care for older adults.
• Strong communication and record‑keeping abilities.
• Willingness to work flexibly, covering shifts as required.

• Ability to assess, plan and evaluate holistic care.
