About the role

This casual, part‑time Bank position at a Barchester care home in Darlington offers flexible working for a Registered Nurse (RGN). You will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of residents, creating a safe and supportive environment while using your professional judgement for clinical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement tailored care plans for each resident.
• Carry out medication administration safely and accurately.
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and produce comprehensive documentation.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred nursing care to individuals with a range of physical and mental health needs.
• Adhere to regulatory frameworks such as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.

Required profile

• Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of clinical best practices.
• Experience in creating care plans and risk assessments.
• Understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Dedicated, compassionate and person‑centred approach.
