Banking Representative – Customer Service Role

About the role

Metro Bank is looking for a friendly, customer‑focused Banking Representative to join its Manchester store. You will be the face of the bank, helping customers understand and choose the right products while delivering a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with customers in‑store, providing advice on Metro Bank products and services.
• Prioritise tasks based on changing customer demand and store objectives.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and non‑regulatory requirements.
• Identify and raise any risk or compliance concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail, even under pressure.
• Ability to build effective relationships with customers in a fast‑paced environment.
• Understanding of risk implications for both the bank and its customers.
• Experience handling customer service queries and working within controlled processes.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
