Banking Solicitor (1–2 PQE) – London

About the role

We are seeking a Banking Solicitor with 1–2 years post‑qualification experience to join a top‑100 UK law firm in London. You will work alongside partners and senior lawyers on a variety of finance transactions, gaining exposure to high‑value deals across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with banking and finance transactions from instruction through to completion, including managing conditions precedent, signing and completion processes.
• Provide commercially focused advice and build strong client relationships.
• Supervise trainees and paralegals as required.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the growth of the team.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 1–2 years PQE and solid grounding in general banking and finance matters.
• Excellent technical ability, strong organisational skills and a commercial approach to client service.
• Confidence in communicating and managing transactions efficiently.
• Experience in real‑estate finance, development finance, health and social care finance or cross‑border transactions is advantageous but not essential.
