Bar Staff – Serve Food & Drinks

About the role

Join a friendly, hard‑working team at a busy pub, serving food and drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and customer service. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and flexible shift patterns to suit your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks to the correct specification, both at the bar and via the customer app.
• Deliver food, complete check‑backs and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Provide warm, friendly interactions with customers, building rapport and promoting promotions.
• Maintain “clean as you go” standards: clear tables, wipe surfaces, perform toilet checks.
• Assist with glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden duties, and other ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and team‑oriented with a positive attitude.
• Calm under pressure and willing to learn new skills.
• Friendly, customer‑focused and able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.81.
