Floor Staff – Pub Service Role

About the role

Join a busy Wetherspoon pub in Carlisle as a Floor Staff member, delivering food and drink service to customers while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. No prior experience is required – we provide full training to help you succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and drinks accurately, either at the bar or via the customer app.
• Deliver meals to tables, complete check‑backs, and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Provide friendly customer interactions, greet guests, thank them, and build rapport.
• Maintain ‘clean as you go’ standards, including clearing tables, wiping surfaces, and performing toilet checks.
• Assist with glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden clearing, and other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly attitude.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work flexible shift patterns.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
