Barista (21 hrs) – Flexible Shifts

About the role
Join Costa Coffee in Barnstaple as a Barista working 21 hours per week. You will be the face of the store, delivering great coffee and a welcoming experience to every customer while enjoying flexible shift patterns.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea and food items according to Costa’s standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well‑stocked work environment.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
Required profile
- Resourceful, adaptable and a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Accountable and proud of delivering quality work.
- Calm, composed and strong communication skills.
- Genuine people focus and enthusiasm for teamwork.
Required skills
- Customer service orientation.
- Basic numeracy for handling transactions.
