Bench Joiner – Full‑time (Temporary) – Bedford

About the role
We are looking for a reliable Bench Joiner to join our busy wood‑working factory in the Bedfordshire area. The role is Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm, and offers the chance to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team.
Key responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate components.
- Cut, measure and assemble wooden structures according to specifications.
- Maintain high health and safety standards and report any concerns to the manager.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow on the shop floor.
Required profile
- GNVQ or equivalent qualification (desirable but not mandatory).
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong team‑oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Required skills
- Technical drawing interpretation.
- Cutting and measuring of timber.
- Assembly of wooden structures.
