Benefits Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to join the newly formed Business Improvement team within Field Operations. This position sits at the centre of a major transformation programme for an electricity distribution business, helping to ensure that improvement initiatives deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Define, track and analyse benefits across improvement projects and transformation programmes.
• Produce insightful reports for governance forums and senior‑level decision‑making.
• Monitor benefits performance, identify risks, issues and variances, and support corrective actions.
• Maintain benefits profiles, tracking tools and supporting evidence to ensure robust governance and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with project teams, operational stakeholders and Finance to validate assumptions, baselines and realised outcomes.
• Support regulatory evidence requirements and benefits assurance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of benefits management tools, reporting and processes.

Required profile

• Enjoys turning data into meaningful insight and is passionate about realising the value of change.
• Experience in an operational environment or an organisation undergoing significant transformation.
• Demonstrates the company values of doing the right thing, finding a better way and making it happen.
• Background in benefits analysis, performance reporting or business analysis.
