Billings/Revenue Assistant – Hybrid (Contract to Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Billings/Revenue Assistant to join a well‑established finance team in Bristol. The role starts on a contract basis with a strong prospect of becoming permanent for the right candidate. You will take ownership of billing activities while supporting the overall finance function in a hybrid working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process client bills in line with firm procedures.
• Review work‑in‑progress (WIP) and liaise with fee earners on billing requirements.
• Produce draft bills and make necessary amendments.
• Process credit notes and bill transfers.
• Assist with billing queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate billing records and support month‑end processes.
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and internal controls.

Required profile

• Previous experience in billing, invoicing or finance administration, or currently studying for AAT.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proactive, positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
• Available immediately or with a short notice period.

Required skills

• AAT qualification or active study towards AAT.
