BIM Coordinator – Design Consultancy

About the role

Charcoalblue is looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to join its design consultancy team. You will own BIM execution at the project level, coordinate information models, and work closely with theatre, lighting, stage equipment, and acoustics designers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality BIM support across the practice in line with industry standards.
• Set up and link Revit models on Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Identify and correct common modelling mistakes, feeding improvements into training.
• Provide BIM software training and ongoing support to consultants.
• Ensure application of Charcoalblue BIM standards on all projects.
• Mentor BIM Assistants and designers, creating reference guides and training sessions.
• Collaborate with project team leaders, external BIM coordinators, and clients during BIM workshops.
• Monitor clash detection processes and flag risks early.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within a design or construction environment.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Willingness to undergo role‑specific inductions and ongoing training.
