BIM Coordinator

About the role

BWB Consulting is hiring a BIM Coordinator in Manchester to bring multidisciplinary designs together and shape digital delivery. Working with engineers, designers and project stakeholders, you will coordinate BIM activities across a varied project portfolio, helping teams share reliable information, spot design interfaces early and resolve coordination issues.

Key responsibilities

• Merge multidisciplinary models and maintain coordinated federated models
• Run clash detection and model reviews, track issues through to resolution
• Support coordination meetings and resolve model and information interfaces with designers
• Check model quality, data completeness and compliance with project requirements and BIM standards
• Support BIM Execution Plans and information workflows aligned with ISO 19650
• Coordinate information exchange through the Common Data Environment
• Produce reports on model quality, coordination progress and outstanding actions
• Share knowledge and improve BIM workflows and digital delivery

Required profile

• Experience in BIM modelling and coordination in engineering, construction or a multidisciplinary design environment
• Relevant qualification in engineering, construction, architectural technology or digital construction, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to explain technical issues clearly and work collaboratively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing project priorities

Required skills

• Revit and Navisworks Manage or equivalent coordination software
• Clash detection, model checking and multidisciplinary information exchanges
• BIM Execution Plans, ISO 19650 and Common Data Environments
• Civil and structural models, IFC workflows or Dynamo are an advantage
