BIM Specialist

About the role

Hoare Lea is seeking a BIM Specialist to lead the production, coordination and management of BIM models across a variety of engineering projects. Working with minimal supervision, you will ensure that models meet industry standards and project requirements while supporting the wider BIM process.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate BIM models, ensuring compliance with project and industry standards.
• Manage model coordination, model health, clash reporting and space set‑up, resolving issues promptly.
• Review and support BIM deliverables, external models, change‑review drawings and related documentation.
• Assist with resource allocation, internal and external BIM meetings, and training for Model Managers.
• Contribute to information management, bid support, automation opportunities and continuous BIM process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in BIM modelling and coordination within a building services or consultancy environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
