BIM/Revit Technician

About the role

Amentum is looking for a BIM/Revit Technician to support ongoing or planned infrastructure work around the existing 5 Basin at HMNB Devonport, which houses active nuclear submarines and will be upgraded for the Royal Navy's future fleet. The role sits within a larger, decade-long redevelopment of the dockyard. Flexible working is offered, with a mix of office and home working; the Glasgow office is the preferred base.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 3D CAD information in a BIM environment and 2D/3D drawings.
• Work across Electrical and Mechanical disciplines, including Electrical Building Services.
• Contribute to infrastructure work supporting the Royal Navy's operations.

Required profile

• Knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering and experience in electrical/mechanical building services, power, lighting, CCTV, alarms and similar.
• Experience in a defence or nuclear-related industry preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with working in a secure environment.
• Minimum qualification of HND or equivalent.
• Sole UK National, resident in the UK for the preceding 5 years, able and willing to obtain SC-level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel if required.

Required skills

• Fluent in Revit and AutoCAD.
• BIM, Common Data Environment (CDE) and QA systems.
• Ability to produce 2D/3D drawings and 3D CAD information.
