BMS Graphics Engineer

About the role

Clear is looking for a BMS Graphics Engineer in Essex, working on a hybrid basis. The role turns complex building systems into intelligent, intuitive interfaces so customers can see exactly what is happening inside their buildings. You will combine BMS knowledge with strong visual and software skills to create graphics, dashboards and user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop BMS graphical interfaces and create graphics for HVAC and building services systems.
• Configure alarms, trends and user interfaces.
• Translate engineering schematics into clear BMS graphics.
• Work with engineers to understand control strategies and improve the usability and visualisation of BMS systems.
• Support commissioning teams with graphics and software, review existing graphics and assist with remote diagnostics and system optimisation.

Required profile

• Previous BMS graphics experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and good understanding of BMS architecture and controls.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Experience creating intuitive operator interfaces.

Required skills

• Experience with Trend or similar BMS platforms.
• Strong attention to detail.
