BMS Technical Manager

About the role

Clear is looking for an experienced Regional Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across BMS projects, service activity and engineering teams in the Essex/London area. You will act as the technical escalation point across your region, helping engineers solve complex problems so customers receive technically robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to regional BMS engineering teams.
• Support engineers with complex commissioning, service and fault-finding issues.
• Review technical designs, control strategies and specifications.
• Attend customer sites when senior technical support is required.
• Assist with project and service escalations and ensure technical standards are maintained.
• Identify recurring technical issues and implement improvements.
• Support training and development of engineers and work alongside project, service and commercial teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive BMS/controls engineering experience.
• Previous senior engineering or technical management experience.
• Strong customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Strong commissioning and fault-finding knowledge.
• Good understanding of HVAC and mechanical plant.
• Experience with Trend or comparable BMS platforms.

• Salary of £60,000 - £80,000.
