Branch Manager – Fleet

About the role

As the Branch Manager at the Fleet location, you will be the primary leader of a busy builders’ merchant outlet, overseeing a team of 13 staff and managing three vehicles, tool hire and a Benchmarx kitchen crew. You will ensure the branch runs efficiently, meets profitability targets and delivers excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team to achieve sales and service targets.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring a customer‑first experience.
• Drive sales strategies, manage stock, deliveries and day‑to‑day operations while maintaining health and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Benchmarx/Tool Hire RD on sales, purchasing, distribution and yard operations.
• Recruit, train and mentor staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.
