Branch Manager – Logistics

About the role

LV Logistics is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead its Tilbury branch. This full‑time, permanent position involves overseeing daily operations, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the branch meets profitability targets while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day branch operations to maintain efficiency and smooth running.
• Implement company policies, procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve branch targets.
• Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships.
• Foster a customer‑centric culture and uphold high satisfaction levels.
• Recruit, train, supervise and develop a small team of four, including Deputies, Supervisors and Team Leaders.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage branch budgets and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with marketing to support local promotional activities and brand awareness.
• Represent the branch at community and networking events.
• Ensure compliance with LV HSSQE systems, safety standards and trade‑compliance regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or similar leadership role within logistics.
• Strong background in sales, customer service and staff management.
• Excellent leadership, decision‑making and people‑management abilities.
• Commercially minded, results‑driven and able to work under pressure.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
