Branch Manager – Windlesham

About the role

Travis Perkins, the UK's largest builders' merchant with over 500 branches, is recruiting a Branch Manager for its Windlesham branch. You will lead a team of 6 people and 1 vehicle, work closely with the regional Benchmarx/Tool Hire RD on sales, purchasing, distribution, warehousing, yard operations and safety, and keep the branch profitable and running smoothly. The role is permanent and full time, 44.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with two Saturdays every four weeks (8:00 am to 12:00 pm).

Key responsibilities

• Inspire, coach and develop the team so they meet targets and deliver excellent service.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Drive sales strategies that boost revenue while managing stock, deliveries and day-to-day operations.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Recruit, train and mentor staff, supporting their career progression.
• Work with the regional Benchmarx/Tool Hire RD to coordinate sales, purchasing, distribution, warehousing, yard operations and safety.
