Bricklaying Lecturer – Teach Construction Skills

About the role
We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Bricklaying Lecturers to deliver high‑quality training for further‑education providers in London. You will help learners develop practical bricklaying techniques, technical knowledge and industry‑standard practices, supporting their academic and career progression.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging bricklaying lessons across various levels.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with college requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback and practical support to learners.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive workshop environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to learner achievement, retention and progression.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Bricklaying, Construction or a related trade.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent).
- Experience teaching bricklaying in further, secondary, higher or adult education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
