Broker Support & Account Handler – Reinsurance & Energy

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Broker Support and Account Handler to join our Energy broking team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality administrative support for new business, renewals and mid‑term changes, ensuring client needs are met efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
• Handle incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties.
• Process client renewals, mid‑term adjustments and delegated authority contracts.
• Prepare comprehensive broking documentation, slips, quotes, indications and endorsements.
• Perform technical duties such as data entry, credit control and chasing subjectivities.
• Assist in planning suitable insurance programmes and maintain accurate electronic records.
• Interpret instructions, apply policies and ensure up‑to‑date filing systems.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
• Experience in reinsurance or related insurance sectors.
• Team‑oriented with excellent client‑focused relationship skills.
• Resilient under pressure and adaptable to change.
• Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
