Broking Quality & Standards Consultant

About the role

You will play a key role in a growing commercial insurance broking team, helping to raise the quality of advice and service delivered to clients. This is not a heavy compliance position; instead you will support colleagues, share expertise and shape best practice across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Review new business, renewal and mid‑term adjustment files to ensure consistency and high quality.
• Provide practical feedback and coaching to colleagues to support their development.
• Identify trends, training needs and opportunities for performance improvement.
• Collaborate with operational and technical teams to enhance processes and tools.
• Influence team culture and help raise standards across the business.

Required profile

• Strong commercial insurance experience, preferably in broking or underwriting.
• Experience in file reviews, quality assurance or technical assurance.
• Confidence in delivering constructive feedback and coaching.
• Analytical ability to spot trends and patterns.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
