About the role
We are seeking a dedicated BTEC Business Studies Teacher to join a vibrant sixth‑form college in London. The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, and involves delivering Level 1‑3 BTEC Business curriculum to post‑16 students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality Business Studies lessons in line with the BTEC framework.
- Create engaging, innovative learning experiences that inspire a love of business.
- Monitor student progress, assess work and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and school‑wide events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas/FE teaching qualification.
- Extensive experience teaching Business Studies at post‑16 level, even if not formally qualified.
- Passion for business education and commitment to student success.
