Bus Contracts & Projects Officer

About the role

This 12‑month fixed‑term position offers a university placement student the chance to work within the Public Transport team of the Cambridge & Peterborough Combined Authority. You will help shape the future of local bus services by monitoring contracts, analysing performance data and supporting compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contracted bus services through on‑street observations.
• Analyse performance data, punctuality, reliability and customer feedback and produce insightful reports.
• Support the management of bus service registrations and ensure contract compliance.

Required profile

• A‑Levels or equivalent.
• Studying towards a degree in Geography, Transport Planning or a related subject.
• Genuine interest in public transport and sustainable travel.
