Business Analyst – Insurance, Claims & CRM (Hybrid)

About the role

The client is a high‑profile insurance firm seeking a Business Analyst with strong insurance, claims and CRM experience. The role is a six‑month contract, hybrid working (1‑2 days on site in London or Brighton), and operates inside IR35.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, document and manage business requirements and user stories for claims and policy administration systems.
• Model current (as‑is) and future (to‑be) processes using formal modelling techniques.
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams to deliver functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Support the transformation of policy administration platforms and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Required profile

• Proven Business Analyst experience within large, complex organisations, preferably in the insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of claims processes and systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work on‑site 1‑2 days per week.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with claims platforms such as Guidewire, Acturis or Duck Creek.
• Familiarity with CRM solutions like Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce or PeopleSoft.
• Agile Scrum methodology.
• Process‑mapping and business‑process‑improvement techniques.
