Business Automation Engineer

About the role

As part of the Customer Care Service Design team, a Business Automation Engineer is responsible for identifying operational inefficiencies and transforming manual processes into scalable, automated solutions that improve how our teams work. He/She leverages workflow automation, data platforms, cloud technologies, and emerging AI capabilities to build reliable solutions that reduce manual effort, improve operational consistency, and enable Customer Care teams to scale efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy automations that eliminate manual work and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance existing automations, integrations, and workflows to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand pain points, process gaps, and operational challenges.
• Convert business requirements into clear automation designs and implementation plans.
• Build solutions using enterprise platforms such as Make.com, Airtable, AWS, and Zendesk.
• Explore and incorporate AI capabilities to improve operational outcomes.
• Contribute technical expertise to roadmap projects and cross‑functional initiatives.
