Business Controller

About the role

Bunge is seeking a highly motivated Business Controller to join its Finance team in Thame, Oxfordshire. The role is responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting for UK entities while coordinating the US GAAP reporting process.

Key responsibilities

• Own the UK country financial statements, including management information, asset reporting, and variance analysis.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial close process, ensuring alignment across the region and strong controls.
• Ensure UK financial statements comply with US GAAP, preparing SEC and SFAS schedules and escalating technical matters as needed.
• Manage Mark‑to‑Market (MTM) activities, including pricing, valuation calculations, journal postings, and month‑end MTM reviews.
• Monitor accounting and reporting KPIs, driving improvements in OneStream, SAP, and manual processes.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on control‑oriented environments.
• Ability to partner with upstream teams and business units to identify opportunities and risks.
• Experience delivering compliant and timely financial statements under US GAAP.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement of reporting processes.
