Business Development Executive – Diageo Drinks Brands

About the role

Represent market‑leading drinks brands such as Smirnoff, Guinness and Gordon’s as a Sales Executive for CPM, promoting Diageo products in the grocery retail sector across Newport and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out face‑to‑face visits to grocery multiple retailers in the territory.
• Advise key stakeholders on promotions and increase awareness of the full product range.
• Use provided data to check stock levels, resolve issues and ensure agreed shelf space and displays are in place.
• Draw up bespoke business plans using local market knowledge and make recommendations to store managers.
• Report on each call via the supplied tablet, sharing competitor information and achievements.

Required profile

• Passionate about a sales career in the drinks industry and representing great brands.
• Tenacious, commercially minded and able to analyse in‑store data to meet targets.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills to influence decision‑makers.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

• Salary £26,756 per annum plus £3,000 bonus and company car.
