Business Development Executive – Hybrid (Trowbridge)

About the role

We are partnering with a friendly, well‑established digital agency that delivers web development, SEO and PPC services to small‑ and medium‑sized businesses. They are looking for a Business Development Executive to join the team on a hybrid basis, working three days a week in the Trowbridge office.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of the agency’s service portfolio to recommend appropriate digital solutions.
• Engage potential clients via phone, email and LinkedIn, handling inbound, warm and cold leads.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial scoping and proposal creation through negotiation and closing, before handing projects to the delivery team.
• Research and prospect new businesses in target sectors to expand the sales pipeline.
• Maintain an organised pipeline, track progress against targets and report regularly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital sales, business development or a similar agency environment.
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and building rapport with prospects.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and act on new opportunities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM tools for pipeline management.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
