About the role
This is a field‑based Business Development Executive position covering the M62 Corridor for a long‑established, family‑owned food and drink manufacturer. You will be responsible for expanding the brand’s presence in Wholesale and Out‑of‑Home channels, building new relationships and strengthening existing ones.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and grow the M62 territory by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Maintain and deepen relationships with existing wholesale and out‑of‑home customers.
- Increase product distribution and drive sales performance across the region.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company at customer sites and industry events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability and promotional support.
Required profile
- Proactive, hands‑on attitude with a passion for building relationships.
- Experience in FMCG sales, wholesale, hospitality or a similar customer‑facing commercial role.
- Strong commercial awareness and a drive to win new business.
- Confidence working independently in a field‑based environment.
- Passion for food, drink and the FMCG industry.

- Salary of £38,000 per annum plus a £5,000 car allowance and bonus potential.
