Business Development Graduate Scheme – £35k OTE

About the role

Our client, a leading UK distributor of healthcare products, is launching a Business Development Graduate Scheme. The role offers a £35,000 base salary with on‑target earnings (OTE) and provides a fast‑track entry into commercial sales. Graduates will work closely with senior staff to learn the full 360‑degree sales process while building relationships with new and existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s product portfolio and value proposition.
• Prospect new customers via phone, email and social channels to arrange meetings, webinars and product demos.
• Research accounts to identify key influencers and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Support existing clients to ensure satisfaction and upsell where appropriate.
• Shadow senior colleagues to learn the end‑to‑end sales cycle and contribute to revenue growth.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a car.
