About the role
This position sits within a leading global law firm, focusing on building a client‑centric and opportunity‑spotting function for the Banking and Finance team. You will collaborate with an international network of Business Development professionals to shape and execute the BD strategy for the practice.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and lead BD targeting and client‑listening initiatives for new and existing banking and finance clients.
- Coach partners on strategic BD initiatives and oversee a select set of client teams.
- Map the size of market opportunities and manage complex, high‑value client relationships.
- Work closely with senior partners to align BD activities with the firm’s overall marketing and growth objectives.
Required profile
- Proven Business Development and client‑management experience within the legal sector.
- Strong understanding of banking and finance services offered by law firms.
- Ability to influence senior partners and drive strategic initiatives.
