About the role
Reed.co.uk is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its Commercial Team in Holborn, London. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new enterprise customers and re‑engaging previously churned accounts within the Direct Employer Enterprise segment.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve ambitious acquisition revenue targets and increase the number of active enterprise customers.
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospects, focusing on organisations with over 1,000 employees.
- Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to convert free and paid trials into long‑term contracts.
- Work closely with the Retention sales team to ensure seamless hand‑over and ongoing account growth.
- Represent Reed.co.uk at industry events and network with key decision‑makers.
Required profile
- Proven experience in generating new business revenue and meeting sales KPIs.
- Strong prospecting and face‑to‑face sales expertise.
- Consultative sales approach with confidence in asking for business.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated, results‑driven and passionate about sales.
Required skills
- Demonstrable new‑business development experience.
- Experience crafting and executing prospect strategies.
- Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders in large organisations.
