Business Development Manager – Field Sales (Plymouth)

About the role

We are seeking a confident, driven Business Development Manager to expand our client base and generate new revenue across Plymouth. This field‑based position combines proactive prospecting with full‑cycle sales management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through door‑to‑door prospecting, networking and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, promoting the company’s products and services.
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
• Attend the office periodically for administrative and reporting tasks.
• Represent the business professionally as a brand ambassador in the field.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field‑based sales or business development.
• Highly confident, self‑motivated and comfortable approaching new prospects.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Resilient, target‑driven and eager to succeed.
• Well‑organized with the ability to manage your own diary and workload.
