Business Development Manager – German Speaking (Travel & Hospitality)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who is fluent in German and English to become the face of our hotel brands across the UK and key European markets. Based in the UK, you will build and nurture relationships with travel agents, tour operators and other trade partners, driving brand awareness and bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary trade contact for assigned hotel brands in the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Poland.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, consortia and industry partners.
• Deliver face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions, presentations and webinars.
• Plan and execute agency visits, sales calls, trade events, roadshows and partner meetings.
• Recruit and support agents through incentive, rewards and training programmes.
• Create and implement sales campaigns and trade engagement initiatives with commercial and marketing teams.
• Organise familiarisation trips, educational visits and trade events.
• Provide timely support to tour operator partners and respond to trade enquiries.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and partner performance.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, marketing activity and market feedback.

Required profile

• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, tourism or hotel representation.
• Strong presentation, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
