Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking a driven Business Development Manager to expand RISCO Group’s footprint across priority sectors. This hybrid position blends field‑based client engagement with home‑based planning, pipeline development and strategic sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities within target sectors
• Build and manage a strong, qualified pipeline aligned to business priorities
• Lead opportunities end‑to‑end, from discovery through negotiation and close
• Develop tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate clear ROI
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across customer organisations
• Use CRM and data insights to manage pipeline, forecasting and performance
• Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Pricing, Operations, Customer Support)
• Support onboarding to ensure strong customer adoption and satisfaction

Required profile

• Proven new‑business “hunter” mentality with success in securing new contracts
• Experience in solution‑based or consultative sales
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to structure compelling deals
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and decision‑makers
• Resilience, self‑motivation and disciplined pipeline management
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
