Business Development Manager – Private Client (Healthcare & Retirement)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to grow our Private Client team. You will use your network across the healthcare and professional services sectors to introduce individuals and families to trusted legal advice on wills, lasting powers of attorney and estate planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with care homes, retirement communities, healthcare providers and other referral partners.
• Create and pursue opportunities to present the firm’s Private Client services.
• Attend networking events and build a strong referral pipeline.
• Convert introductions into client instructions and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with partners and fee‑earners to maximise business opportunities.
• Report on business development activity and help raise the firm’s profile in the healthcare and elderly‑care sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within healthcare, care homes, retirement living or professional services.
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build trusted relationships.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and commercially aware.
• Full UK driving licence.
