About the role
As a Business Development Representative at Sage, you will be the first point of contact for small and medium‑size businesses unfamiliar with our software solutions. You will introduce prospects to Sage’s modern tools, including AI‑enhanced features, and begin meaningful conversations that drive interest.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct high‑volume cold outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels.
- Identify and qualify leads using BANT or SPIN sales frameworks.
- Handle objections effectively and build a pipeline of potential customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to transition qualified prospects to account executives.
- Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM and report on outreach metrics.
Required profile
- Proven experience in a lead‑generating sales role.
- Basic understanding of BANT or SPIN sales methodologies.
- Ability to provide concrete examples of objection handling.
- Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, hybrid environment.
