Business Development Specialist – Real Estate

About the role

Our client, an award‑winning law firm, is looking for an experienced Business Development Specialist to drive growth within the mid‑market and global real‑estate sector. Working closely with the head of department, you will identify new opportunities, build professional relationships and contribute to the firm’s revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid‑market and global real‑estate organisations.
• Arrange and lead introductory meetings and negotiate revenue streams with new clients and referral partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and referrers.
• Analyse departmental BD data to highlight areas for growth and improvement.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and manage data integrity.
• Research and attend key sector events for networking.
• Advise and train partners and fee earners on lead generation and relationship management.
• Collaborate with Marketing and the BD head on brochures, pitch documents and other collateral.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of successful business development experience in a law firm or comparable professional‑services environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of real‑estate law or the real‑estate sector.
• Proactive, results‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
