Business Integration Specialist – Business Performance & Improvement

About the role

A leading transport organisation in London is seeking a Business Integration Specialist to drive business performance, workforce capability and continuous improvement across a matrix engineering environment. The role will provide data‑driven insight, develop governance frameworks and support strategic workforce planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement governance frameworks, performance measures and KPI reporting.
• Analyse business and workforce data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Produce insightful reports and recommendations for senior decision‑makers.
• Support workforce planning and capability development initiatives.
• Undertake scenario modelling to assess future resource requirements, skills gaps and supply‑chain dependencies.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and sharing best practices.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across engineering, operations and corporate functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing governance frameworks and KPI reporting in a complex or matrix organisation.
• Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable business insight.
• Experience supporting business performance improvement and governance activities.
• Knowledge of workforce planning and capability development methodologies.
• Experience of scenario modelling, including resource planning and skills shortages.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex information clearly.
