Business Intern – 12‑Month Early Careers Placement

About the role

Leidos UK and EUROPE is offering a 12‑month Business Intern placement as part of its Early Careers Programme. Based in Bristol, you will join a dedicated cohort and rotate through one of three business areas – Procurement, Project Management or Finance – gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of business activities, ensuring tasks are tracked, organised and delivered on time.
• Maintain trackers, status updates and documentation to aid team performance.
• Assist with project coordination across multiple stakeholders.
• Engage with colleagues across functions to gather information and drive business priorities.
• Identify and propose process improvements and efficiencies.
• Prepare reports, presentations and data insights to support decision‑making.
• Work with functional data such as financial figures, project metrics or procurement activity.

Required profile

• Currently studying towards a degree in business, finance, economics or a related discipline.
• Available to work full‑time for a 12‑month placement year.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
