Business & Marketing Data Scientist

About the role

We are looking for a data storyteller who can turn complex analytics into strategic business decisions. As a Business & Marketing Data Scientist you will develop statistical models, optimise data pipelines and deliver insights that drive product retention, churn reduction and overall growth.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and interpret complex datasets using Python, R and SQL to produce actionable recommendations and define key business metrics.
• Write production‑quality code, automate workflows and build intuitive dashboards to monitor solution impact.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Business Development teams to translate high‑level questions into tractable analyses.
• Lead methodology design, validate assumptions in peer analyses and document best practices, sample code and tutorials.
• Gather, clean and validate data from varied sources while adhering to strict privacy, confidentiality and security standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years of relevant data science experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Deep understanding of statistical concepts, data intuition and problem framing.
• Proven experience building data dashboards and automated reporting tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to translate data into business narratives.
