Business Operations Analyst – Insurance

About the role

This position offers an experienced professional the chance to join a respected London‑based insurance organisation. You will become part of a collaborative Operations team that supports underwriting activities and upholds high standards across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide dependable central support to underwriting teams
• Coordinate and oversee outsourced service providers and agreements
• Review existing processes and identify practical improvements
• Act as a point of guidance for colleagues and external partners
• Deliver training on systems and procedural updates
• Produce operational and performance reports to support decision‑making
• Monitor credit control and broker ledger agreements for compliance
• Conduct quality assurance checks across risk and financial data
• Support financial processes including reconciliations and account verification
• Assist with month‑end reporting activities and provide administrative support to the claims team when required

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance, banking, finance, accounting or compliance
• Previous experience in an operational or administrative function
• Strong numerical and analytical capability with confidence handling data
• Methodical approach and high level of attention to detail
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge
