About the role
Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with secondary schools in Canterbury to hire a Business Studies Teacher for September 2026. This temporary position offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages while contributing to a dynamic curriculum.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stages.
- Inspire and motivate students using proven teaching strategies.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
- Contribute to the development and success of the Business Studies curriculum and department.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school setting.
- Willingness to teach occasional Computer Science lessons.
- Strong behaviour management skills.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS, overseas police checks (if applicable), and professional references.
- Legal right to work in the UK and a CV covering the last 10 years of employment.
