Business Studies Teacher

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a Business Studies Teacher for a full‑time, contract‑cover position at a secondary school in Hackney, East London. The role starts in September 2026 and will involve delivering Business Studies to both BTEC and A‑Level students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Business Studies BTEC and A‑Level curricula.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Develop and update curriculum resources in collaboration with the Business and Economics team.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Build strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

Required profile

• Passionate about teaching and able to inspire learners.
• Confident classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of teaching practice.
• Willingness to contribute to departmental and school initiatives.

Required skills

• Experience teaching Business Studies at post‑16 level (preferred).
• Knowledge of BTEC and A‑Level Business curricula.
