Business Studies Teacher – Secondary (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Studies Teacher to join a high‑performing secondary school in Surrey from September 2026. The role can be undertaken on a full‑time or part‑time basis, with candidates indicating their preferred FTE in the initial enquiry.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver GCSE Business (AQA) and A‑Level Economics and Business (AQA) curricula.
• Teach the Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Business (OCR) to post‑16 students.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, assessments and feedback.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular activities such as speaker sessions, conference visits and an annual trip to Brussels.
• Provide targeted support for exam technique and subject‑specific gaps.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Business, Economics or related subjects at KS4/KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student progress.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a department of six staff.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery for GCSE and A‑Level programmes.
• Assessment design and marking.
• Use of classroom technology for lesson enhancement.
